A new revolution for non-coding experts

GPT-4 is a game-changer for those of us who are not coding experts. Using the Value SERP API, I was able to create a website position tracker for my URLs on Google in just a few hours, without having any coding skills. In this article, I will explain to you how I did it.

What is this tool for?

The objective of this tool is to track the position of my different sites based on specific keywords. For example, I want to check the position of my site waxoo.fr when the terms Yomi Denzel And Yomi Denzel reviews are sought after. This allows me to quickly know if my site appears among the first Google results for these keywords, which is crucial for my different website niches. Moreover, this tool works not only for France, but also for other countries that I target, such as Spain, Brazil and the United States.

Creation of the tool with GPT-4

The creation of this tool was made possible thanks to GPT-4. Even without coding skills, I was able to use the Value SERP API to retrieve organic results from Google for all countries. I simply copied the Value SERP documentation and pasted it into the GPT-4 chat. Next, I asked GPT-4 to create a tool using this API to track the position of my sites based on keywords. GPT-4 then integrated all of my sites and highlighted them with a yellow highlighter for better visibility.

API key integration

Since using the API requires a key, I asked GPT-4 to explain to me how to store this key securely. Following the GPT-4 instructions, I created an environment variable to store my API key. So I no longer need to enter this key every time. All I have to do is provide my list of keywords retrieved from Google Search Console, and I can see the ranking of my sites for each keyword live.

Additional Features

GPT-4 also helped me secure access to my code repository and design the user interface with Bootstrap. Additionally, at my request, GPT-4 added a feature allowing me to save my results in CSV format and store them in a database on my server. This allows me to track how my sites perform in Google search results based on the dates I made API calls.

Conclusion

The process of creating this tool took a while, as I had to go back and forth with GPT-4 several times to fix errors and add features. However, the result is incredible. Not only did the tool meet all my requirements, but it was made entirely by myself, a person with no coding skills, with the help of GPT-4.

I hope this article has given you some ideas on what you can do with GPT-4. Even if you’re not a developer, don’t hesitate to try GPT-4 and see how it can help you bring your ideas to life.
